Casualty in Water

Pagers sounded at 7.29pm and the main lifeboat launched  ten minutes later and began a search. Our smaller ILB was prepped and transported to Carmarthen Bay slip by 4×4 and, once launched, met with main boat. With a strong outward tide, the main lifeboat patrolled the south of the estuary whilst the ILB worked its way upriver. Burry Port ILB also joined the search.

With no sign of a casualty, despite searching with infra-red cameras, and no reports of a missing person, the crew were stood down and returned to base at 9.20pm
