Vessel in distress

The lifeboat launched within 10 minutes of being paged and shortly afterward the boat in question was located and made safe. Whilst doing so, the lifeboat crew identified another boat as in difficulty and its position reported to HM Coastguard, who sent a helicopter to rescue its casualties, whilst Ferryside Lifeboat towed the first vessel back to Ferryside. Following a search of the area for other vessels the crew were stood down.
